Chapter 01 · Introduction

What is Nanobrandschutzdämmung?

Nanobrandschutzdämmung is the fire-protection insulation system based on PSCoat — an insulating coating for steel structures, plant and industrial buildings based on PSC 1200 T HP+.

What is the system for?

Nanobrandschutzdämmung combines thermal insulation with the protection of steel structures. The coating reduces the surface temperature, is highly resistant to chemical environments of classes C4 and C5, and is suitable for interior and exterior areas of industrial structures, plant and equipment.

Which layers does it consist of?

The insulating main coating PSC 1200 T HP+, which — thanks to its corrosion-protection components — can be applied directly to steel, even without a separate primer; if required, PSC 250 T ECB BASIC A serves as a primer.
