What is the task of PSC 250 T HP+?

PSC 250 T HP+ is the insulating functional layer of the roof system — a flexible insulating and sealing coating with the highest ceramic-nanosphere content in the product line.

What is the task of HP+ in the system?

HP+ is the insulating functional layer between the primer (PSC 250 T ECB BASIC A or BASIC B) and the top coat (PSC 250 T ECE ELASTIC or ECR ROOF). It reduces the surface temperature of the roof and can reduce energy costs for cooling or heating.

Which properties characterise HP+?

Water-based acrylic resin coating with the highest ceramic-nanosphere content in the product line; contains corrosion-protection components. High resistance to chemical environments and weathering; reflects a high proportion of the incident solar radiation (Total Solar Reflectance, TSR: 92 %).

Which substrate is suitable?

Metal roofs primed with PSC 250 T ECB BASIC A, or mineral roof coverings primed with PSC 250 T ECB BASIC B. The substrate must be dry, firm, free of oil, grease, dust, salt, rust and old loose coatings.

How is HP+ applied?

Supplied ready to use; thoroughly mix the entire container contents before use. Preferably applied with an airless sprayer (remove the filter beforehand, nozzle pressure max. 130 bar), alternatively with brush or roller (bristle length 8–14 mm). Layers of 0.5–5 mm are recommended (one layer max. 1 mm). HP+ is applied as an intermediate layer; ECE ELASTIC or ECR ROOF follow as the finishing layer.
