What is the task of PSC 250 T EC+?
PSC 250 T EC+ is the reflective top coat of the industrial system — as a finish for HP and HP+ outdoors, or as a standalone reflective finishing coat.
What is the task of EC+ in the system?
EC+ serves as a reflective top coat for the coatings HP and HP+ outdoors and can also be used as a standalone reflective finishing coat. Application areas are exterior surfaces of structures, plant or equipment. The coating is fully washable, dirt- and chemical-resistant and highly resistant to atmospheric influences.
Which properties characterise EC+?
Water-based acrylic resin coating with excellent protective, reflective and visual function; high resistance to chemical environments of classes C4 and C5. Thanks to corrosion-protection components, usable without the primer ECB BASIC A; reflects a high proportion of the incident solar radiation (Total Solar Reflectance, TSR: 92 %) and can be tinted in RAL colours in the COLOR version.
Which substrate is suitable?
All metal surfaces made of steel, aluminium, stainless steel or copper, on which ECB BASIC A or one of the insulating coatings HP or HP+ has already been applied as a primer. The coating can also be used as a standalone finishing coat without HP, HP+ or ECB BASIC A.
How is EC+ applied?
Supplied ready to use; thoroughly mix the entire container contents before use. Preferably applied with an airless sprayer (remove the filter beforehand, nozzle pressure max. 120 bar), alternatively with brush or roller (bristle length 8–14 mm). A second coat is possible once the surface is touch-dry after approx. 2 hours. Tinting only in the COLOR and SPECIAL COLOR versions.
